This year's flu gets so intensive that the number of people seeking care at doctors' and emergency rooms is the highest levels reported in the past ten years, especially for young kids and senior people.

There were several of us or our family members got sick this season, including me. I would like to share some basic preventive habits that can help stop the germs:

  1. Get vaccinated.
  2. Stay at home if you are sick.
  3. Avoid close contact.
  4. Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
  5. Wash your hands often with soap and water.
  6. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
  7. Clean and disinfect surfaces and objects that may be contaminated with germs.
  8. Take flu antiviral drugs if your doctor prescribes them.

Hopefully the flu season will soon get over, and everybody stay healthy!
