FRI's kettle reboiler now has four windows on it. This reboiler is routinely run at pressures ranging from 75 mmHga to 165 psia.
At the May 2013 Technical Commitee meeting in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, Dr. Tony Cai summarized FRI's latest results regarding FRI's study of kettle reboiling. Dr. Cai's model for hydraulic flood point predictions has now been corroborated three different (independent) ways. FRI's testing of its kettle in thermosiphon mode has some chemical and petroleum companies extremely interested. FRI will be holding Kettle Reboiling symposia in Galveston, Texas, USA on October 2, 2013 and in Tokyo, Japan on November 20, 2013. Interested in attending these beneficial sessions?
