HOLIDAY SAFETY

To have happy and safe holidays, following are a few holiday safety tips:

  1. If you are traveling, do NOT post your travel plans on your social media. Wait until after your trip to post about it.   Have a good friend or neighbor check on your house regularly to give you an update
  2. December is the deadliest month for electric fires.  Be aware and careful on all fire hazards, such as electrical fires, cooking fires, and heating equipment fires
  3. When you enjoy the delicious holiday foods, don’t forget about food safety.  The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services provides some holiday food safety tips:

  1. While driving, remind you and your loved ones to be extra alert during this holiday season, when road conditions are more challenging due to heavy traffic and weather conditions.  If needed, don’t hesitate to use Uber, Lyft, and/or Taxi

I wish all of you have a happy and safe holiday.
