I found three kinds of equations about the liquid holdup in packing bed on FRI’s handbook 2.
Among them, two equations are definded as liquid rate such as high liquid rate and low liquid rate.
But I couldn’t find any specific criteria of liquid rate.
(ex, 12gpm/ft2 is the criteria for high liquid rate)
Please let me know the criteria of liquid rate to apply the equation.
