This webinar will discuss actions that can be taken when revamping an existing NGL Fractionation train for maximum capacity and market flexibility. An example of such a revamp, the concepts around pressure optimization, hardware selection, and heat integration will be discussed.
Jose Bravo has a degree in Chemical Engineering and an Executive Leadership/MBA from Wharton with over 40 years of experience in the Oil, Gas, and Chemical Industries. He is currently the President of Fractionation Research Inc., a multiclient consortium that serves industry with Research and Development in the area of Separations Technology.
He is also a Senior Consultant to various clients in the areas of leadership, business and technology strategy, new technology development and de-risking, innovation and research, process and Chemical Engineering.
Before Joining FRI, Mr. Bravo spent 22 years with Shell both in the US and Europe, the last role as Chief Scientist, advising the company leadership on matters such as innovation and technology strategy as well as vetting internal and external technology development. Previous to that, he had roles in Shell in the Process Engineering, R&D, Business Development, and Mentoring and training.
Jose also had an academic research career at the University of Texas at Austin prior to his Shell time and is currently a Visiting Professor in Chemical Engineering at Tianjin University in China.
