Dividing Wall Column (DWC)
Dividing Wall Column (DWC) technology is increasingly popular in refining, petrochemicals, and chemicals for its energy and cost savings. FRI and Koch-Glitsch LP are conducting a pilot plant study on the hydraulic performance and efficiency of commercial-sized semicircular trays for DWCs. This study includes standard FRI assessments of efficiency, pressure drop, and capacity, providing valuable insights for future DWC design and development.
