FRI Welcomes Two New Members

    FRI would like to welcome our two newest members, Cenovus Energy and The Chemours Company.

    Cenovus Energy is a Canadian integrated oil and natural gas company headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, with operations that span Canada, the United States, and the Asia Pacific region.  Their work across the full oil and natural gas value chain - in exploration, production, refining, transportation, and retail - provides products that help power communities and energize the world.  Cenovus Energy will utilize FRI tools and data to help meet their core objectives of operating in a safe, sustainable, and cost-efficient manner.

    Chemours is a US based chemical company with 35 manufacturing and laboratory sites worldwide that serve customers in approximately 120 countries.  Chemours' chemistry is a vital part of our everyday lives. From smart phones to other advanced electronics, high speed communications and connected devices via the Internet of Things, to more climate friendly refrigerants in our homes and cars—chemistry is at work. Chemours also focuses on enabling technologies and innovations that are more environmentally friendly including electric vehicles, clean energy such as hydrogen, coatings that create durable and advanced infrastructure, and more energy-efficient cooling. Chemours aims to achieve its fundamental goals of operating in a secure, environmentally responsible, and cost-effective manner by employing FRI tools and data.
